Why should YOU support Scotian Shores Shoreline Clean Up & Debris Removal in 2021? Here are lots of reasons! 1. We are a LOCAL business. Our bracelets are made local. We clean local shorelines. We use local seaglass in our bracelets. We <3 local. #SupportLocal 2. Every product purchased through Scotian Shores sends our team to remove garbage from the shorelines of Nova Scotia. One Product = One Pound ... 3. We support other local ocean and environmental groups! $2 from every sale is donated back so they can keep doing amazing work creating awareness and cleaning up our province. #SharingIsCaring #localshelpinglocals 4. We try to reduce our footprint by reducing, reusing, recycling and repurposing. Our business and product cards are individually cut from repurposed paper scraps and stamped by hand. Some of our beads and charms in our bracelets are from recycled jewelry that we spend the time to untangle and regift/donate. Even the paper bags we use from Greenii Inc. are made from recycled local publications! 5. We help support other local Nova Scotia artists. Along with our Scotian Shores made bracelets, we sell earrings, necklaces, keychains, home decor and more that come with the "Scotian Shores Promise of One Product = One Pound". Everything is made locally with love and intention. <3 6. We are grateful and appreciative of everyone. All the support, help, advice, opinions, honesty, motivation, information sharing, reviews and so much more give us the strength to keep going. Together we can make a difference. Let's keep #CleaningForOurFuture. We wanted to share our January Data with our followers! Check it out! 3 kitchen sinks were found just in January (and a ton of other interesting things!)... We organized 3 large scale clean ups in January! Over 75 #NovaScotia residents helped during our clean ups! Lots of those beautiful humans were volunteers. 4655lbs of debris were removed from the shorelines... Just. In. January! Since we officially became @scotianshores (Aug. 26th, 2020) our team and volunteers have removed over 9341lbs! (4237kgs) Thanks to everyone who is helping make this possible. We couldn't make this big of a difference without all our amazing volunteers, #OceanWarriors and support! #teamworkmakesthedreamwork #oceanwarrior #GladToCleanUp #localshelpinglocals #everybitcounts #makingadifference #cleanupalert #everylitterbithelps
