When I was a child I had the best neighbour's, they had a greenhouse i loved to visit. I was born on Mrs. Chittenden's birthday, so we were pretty sweet on each other. When I was born she gave my mom a cutting of her Christmas cactus, 63 years ago, and now it lives with me.

WE BETTER START CHRISTMAS NOW! Welcome to Christmas @ Scott Barnim Pottery Magy and I have prepared a wonderful selection of work for the season, and the selection will only continue to grow as we fire kilns in early December. There are great pieces to select from, whether it be something simple or a statement piece for a loved one, or your home.... My Christmas invite was designed a month ago, much has changed since then. Hamilton is still open, however with such uncertainty... I'm starting the Christmas sale NOW, Thursday November 26 the showroom is open daily until December 23, from 10 - 5 p.m. All COVID-19 protocols are in place. Most often I have one customer at a time in the showroom, there is plenty of space to physically distance. I will set up some mulled cider outside should you wish to wait in comfort for your turn to shop in the showroom. I can ship via mail or courier until at least December 14, I can send photos via email or text of the section you're shopping for and ship it to you or the recipient of the gift. I can offer porch pick-up. You can stand outside the door and point until we find the right piece, and call out your credit card for me to enter by hand. There are lots of way to shop safely for everyone's comfort level. I want to make this work however we can, given how difficult this year has been for all of us, I believe we could all benefit from a bit of Christmas spirit.
