Today 25 yrs ago i did something i was told over and over i couldnt do wouldnt last There were too many tires shops in simcoe I just want to say thank you to the ones that believed in me Its been a roller coaster ride over the last 25 yrs from retail to wholesale tractor trailer loads of tires to Manatoba to retail souly ... Over the yrs i have made lots of new friends and family that i will never forget My mom was a big help in me getting the business off the ground she helped in so many ways i miss her Went into whole sale in 2000 this is when i met blaine fleming when he was in branford with harold harold's haulage the 2 of them taught me many things about the tire business over the yr harold an i had a short stretch of dealing together Things progressed faster than i wanted but i pushed forward this is where blaine really showed me how to do certain things in the business This is also the time i met mike moffat a very generous man would listen to u at anytime to help you out Between mike and blaine i was able to fulfill my obligation to wholesale tires to another province and get paid for them The man at the top of all this education of the tire business was ed straza he was there from the 1st day i ordered a load of tires from him to almost 6 yrs later when he mover to Maniatoba where i convinced him to be a salesman for me to whole sale tires to a company in Winnipeg sturgeon tire this would last about 8yrs then i dissolved it to have more family time i don't think i would have made it as far as i did if i didn't have the guidance advice and help from all 4 of these gentleman Blaine you will never be forgotten you will always be im my thoughts as well as mike moffat these 2 were 1 of a kind Aslo george my scrap tire guy the best 1 i ever had you will be missed but always remembered cant believe how many yrs have passed since u passed away Also 1 other person that passed away 6yrs ago kirk dalby he was like a brother to me see each other everyday he work with me for 6yrs the went out on his own to wholesale tires with my blessing I miss u everyday buddy rip Im sure im missing some parts but everyone i have met through this tire business means something to me I am where i am today because of all of you ppl out there you all believed in me and i want to say Thank you very much Heres to another 25yrs

On July 15 2019, I Scott Gerrard will not be at the shop for the day as i will be at a funeral. I would like to reach out the the Tyre Connection family (Blaine Fleming) to send my condolences and thoughts and prays of comfort. I knew Blaine for more than 20 years. He will be greatly missed. He taught me alot about the tire business in one way or another.
