We are so proud to announce that HRH The Duchess of Cambridge is to become Joint President of the Scouts - The Duchess is the first woman ever to hold the post... in the movement’s 113 year history. Her Royal Highness has been a great friend of the Scouting movement over many years and a constant champion for young people. The Duchess is a great believer in the power of volunteering to inspire and improve lives throughout the nation. HRH The Duchess of Cambridge has already met many Scout volunteers who have done so much to support young people during the pandemic. There are many organizations out there that are offering at home activities for families that are great for Scouting. My Scout son and I participated in Nature Conservancy Canada's Quebec bio-blitz.last week. We downloaded an identification app and walked around the nature trails in our neighborhood and took pictures of plants and animals.
