Dear SCPASA students, We are approaching you on behalf of some students who brought forward issues around a toxic learning environment in zoom. More precisely, many students described how they were dismissed by other students while asking questions or discussing zoom teaching styles with teachers. The SCPASA wants to remind you that each student is different and learns in different ways. Students should be able to ask or suggest teaching techniques that allow them to adapt ...to their new online learning environment. It is important to be understanding, considering the radical changes that came with online teaching. The SCPASA is reaching out to remind you all to be empathetic and patient towards one another, despite the crazy times we are living. We know this is challenging for everyone, but we can get past this as a community! Looking forward to seeing all of you in normal times!
