It’s Monday sunshine’s Are you ready for a leg day? Deads, squats, lunges, & thrusts. The only exercises you’ll need for your next leg day. Remember, more doesn’t mean better. Stick to the basics to see all the gains ... Push the weight. Create tension. Rest. DEADLIFT The deadlift is typically done with a barbell, but can also be done with dumbbells. The deadlift targets several muscle types, including your back, quads, and hamstrings. As well as being a key leg exercise, it also engages the glutes muscles. It’s one of the few exercise that targets not only lower body, but it also engages the upper body! The deadlift reduces the risk of injury, especially the lower back. LUNGE The lunge just like the squat requires hip and knee extension and engages key muscles. This exercise also stimulates the quads and glutes and can be done standing in place, or stepping forward or backward, decide yourself of what you prefer. You can also choose between a barbell, dumbbells and the weight. SQUAT Squats seem to be the king of leg day, as they’re the simplest exercise you could do but one of the most challenging. They work the whole lower body and core. Squats can be done using a bar or free weights such as dumbbells and kettlebells. HIP THRUST (not shown in video) For anyone trying to improve their glute size, strength, and power, the hip thrust is an excellent exercise choice. You can load it heavily using a barbell to build more strength. You can use a lighter dumbbell and pump out a bunch of reps for more glute endurance. Or, you can do them on one leg for unilateral strength. Think of the hip thrust as a foundational compound movement you can program it for any goal. This workout is a prime example of what you’ll see in my programming

ISSA UPPER BODY DAYYY Focusing on strength & full ROM for the compounds, then hypertrophy and endurance for the accessories Keeping it simple but WORKING HARD ... PSA: You don’t need to do 9 workouts per muscle group ... I mean you can BUT WHY THO All you require is 2-3 exercises per muscle group. 1-2 compound movements, 1-2 accessory movements. Dasss it.
