Spider is now back to having a dedicated science teacher. In fact, Crystal Penner was our science teacher until she jetted off to Ireland to complete an MSc in medical physics. We feel lucky to have her back. She is good at math too. : ) Note her hours below. She will see students in both Sechelt and Gibsons.

Do you think that Spider should offer a course in Philosophy? This September it will be recognized as a course according to the draft of the new curriculum.
Since 2015, Sunshine Coast students who have graduated from high school but need to upgrade courses for post-secondary have to pay $550 per course as the BC gov...ernment no longer funds them. These courses are free for high school students and adults who have not graduated. The BC Green Party wants to make them free for all students once again. See more
What an interesting idea. Maybe they should turn it over to the students to install. ACE-IT electrical program perhaps?
