Reminders: 1. Festive holiday wear/sweater day on Thursday. Earn House Team points! 2. Winterfest on Friday - check with your child to find out what special activities they are doing and what materials they will require.

Dear Parents/Guardians, Please read the attached letter from Superintendent Diana Samchuck, regarding Fort Nelson Secondary School. There is an attached information bulletin from Northern Health. Please note that the bulletin states:... "Rates of COVID-19 activity in the North during this second wave mean that all residents, whether or not they are known close contacts of a lab-confirmed COVID case, are at similar risk. For this reason, everyone should be following public health advice and orders, closely self monitoring for symptoms, and seeking testing if symptoms develop." As such, it is very important that our students continue to ensure that they are abiding by the "top four" while at school: - performing the daily health check and staying home when sick - physically distancing as much as possible (even within their learning groups) - hand washing at appropriate times - using appropriate respiratory and personal hygiene (cough or sneeze into a tissue or elbow; don't share food, personal items, or school materials).
