With a lineage that dates back to the veterans of the Loyalist regiments who settled our namesake Counties, the Stormont, Dundas & Glengarry Highlanders (SD&G H...ighrs) have always answered the Call-to-Arms when necessary to support our great nation. These soldiers, these "Glengarrians", served with honour and sacrificed for the collective well-being of all Canadian's. Whether it be during the defence of pre-Confederation Canada through to the battlefields of Europe and Afghanistan, the Counties regiment has always stepped forward. Therefore, during this period of solemn reflection and remembrance, take pause with friends, family, and community to uphold our oath of loyalty and comradeship to honour the memory of all great Canadian's who have served our nation in times of conflict.
