I just finished these beautiful pillow shams and am now working on the quilt to go with them. I love Kaffe Fassett fabrics and my objective here is to highlight these blocks. I am placing a digital design in the blocks and then doing the smashing free motion. The quilt is completely stitched in the ditch and ready for the block patterns. I hope everyone is staying healthy and happy during these challenging times. I am so lucky to have wonderful clients who keep me busy.

This is a very special quilt - my customer hand pieced the entire top and it was spectacular. I am hoping my custom quilting has enhanced the beauty of this Grandmother’s Flower Garden quilt. I wanted to keep an old fashioned feeling to the quilting so used freehand feathers in the borders and simple arcs and flower design in the main body. Hope you like it!

I liked this quilt so much I bought the kit haha - that is a problem with quilting so many other’s quilts - I see so many that I would like to make - so much to do, so little time. My client and I chose this great wave pattern for the whales to swim in.
