seating will be limited because of covid restrictions , reservations only without we might not be able to offer seating .

I spent 2 weeks here in Oregon feeding people displaced by fire many who lost everything. The comfort meals on our menu were the top sellers not the flashy and ...artistic preparations and displays. The word restaurant come from the French words "To restore.' If we in this art can wish someone away for a meal and give them a moment to feel safe and bring about comfort then we have achieved our calling. It is a higher calling that many don't understand. There are no cameras or bright lights in the kitchen, it is often unthankful almost for we work in hot closed in areas laboring to make every meal the best we can in mere minuets where other artists get to take their time we have to race the clock all the time. We must be better, faster, more innovative every single day, hour, and minuet. This is what we do. We "Restore" people to a time when they were at grandma's table or in some exotic place feeling all that is good in life. We are cooks, bakers, Chefs, and we are all well fed starving artists. Our first meal out in 3 months (have done lots of local take out) and was so impressed with the service (and the food ) at The vine Cowichan bay - it’s so sad ...to see the x’s on the tables they can’t serve due to the restrictions, but know that if we all support them (and other local businesses) as much as we can through this, we can help them make it through this together. Amazing food and although we said no to dessert (have to get this COVID 20 off ) their desserts sounded amazing too!

we are currently measuring safe distances as well as putting safety plans in place , sourcing the best anti viral cleaners as well as planning our patio set up . We are starting up Friday the 22nd mainly for patio service . We will be welcoming guests in a planned and organized manner , no more than 16 per half hour period we will have one way entrance and exit travel during this difficult time we will be operating with limited kitchen and service staff to keep contact to a minimum We will strive to continue to give you the best service and food quality experience. we are sourcing all of our products from reliable suppliers that have presented their food safety plans and local wherever possible

we will be facing some challenges in the next few days organizing for a safe return for our staff as well as creating a safe environment for guests as a result we will be suspending take -out Remember outdoor is better , our patio is ideal !!!
