Our Seaforth PS students have worked hard on their Winter Concert. Thank you to Mrs Dawe, our primary students and teachers and Mrs. Regier and her class. Enjoy this with your family, a cup of cocoa and share the joy. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=p74O7qGTRyQ&t=10s
Get ready for Friday when our next Seaforth PS production goes live.
We had some excitement on our playground today. It appears that we all like window-visits too!
The elves have been busy around here. Look at what was hanging on our door knobs? I wonder what this surprise will lead to?
Our littl people are heading out for a sunny walk. They are looking for the letter M.
The school was a flood of Red & Green today. It has been wonderful to see so many people join in our spirit days this week. We even had a couple of extra visitors in red stop by for some distanced window visits!
Today the grade 2/3 and 4/5A students showed some compassion in writing out Christmas cards to share their hopes and well wishes for the families of Neskantaga. They have been learning about how the families of this Indigenous community had recently been displaced from their homes due to a lack of safe drinking water - a problem that has continued in this community for the past 25 years. Just as the students were writing, some good news was shared in the media to announce that the Federal Government has plans to fly these families back to their home community starting tomorrow. Maybe our hopes and dreams will come true?!?
Mrs Murray and her students learned first hand the turtle protection program from the staff at the Toronto Zoo. They had co-created questions ahead of time and recorded the answers on their individual notes. Ask your child to share some of the new and interesting facts that they learned about turtles, cheetahs, giraffes and gorillas.
On a cold day like today there were toasty Christmas toes everywhere! Don't forget tomorrow is "Red & Green Day" Get creative and show your school spirit.
Every student enjoyed having a chocolate milk during nutrition break today. There were a lot of milk mustache smiles! Thank you to our local Dairy Producers for their generous donation of milk!
The spirit of Christmas is alive at SPS! We have raised $457.00 so far to donate to the Huron County Christmas Bureau! Families can donate using school cash online until Wednesday, Nov. 25. Way to go cubs, giving and sharing with others is truly the real meaning of Christmas!
Kindergarten A went for a frosty morning walk today to spread some Christmas cheer to our friends at the Seaforth Manor. They love their window visits!
