When it comes to face masks, what is your favorite type? There's a wide array of powder masks, sheet masks, and liquid masks on the market. We're pro powder for a couple great reasons that may make you ditch your sheet masks that have a long expiration on them. There are no preservatives added to Sealuxe’s masks. This is why they are in a powdered form. No preservatives means no ugly chemicals for your skin to absorb. If you find you made too much ...face mask, no problem! Just keep the unused portion in the fridge for up to five days. Treat it as you would any fresh food use quickly otherwise it will lose its potency and need to be thrown out. We can help you find the best mask for your skin concerns! All of our masks are gentle enough for all skin types, but some help troubleshoot problem areas more than others. Let us know what your skin concerns are and we'll pair you with the best mask! See more

We have found sea salt does wonders to improve acne-prone skin! Sea salt is a natural antiseptic so not only does it clean the pores, but it's anti-inflammatory properties help sooth skin and calm irritation that can lead to breakouts. Sea salt also helps balance out your skin’s oil production so your oily skin stays under control! Make your own sea salt tonic by mixing one tablespoon of sea salt to a 16-ounce spray bottle of warm water. We recommend spraying the mixture onto a clean washcloth (we got reusable pads in the shop!) and dabbing your face, shoulders, or anywhere you are prone to breakouts - #greenskincare #seasaltremedies #seasalt #blogoftheweek #canadianblog #skincareblog #DIYseasaltspray #DIYskincare

What are your 2021 rituals you want to create for yourselves? I want to be more adventurous by doing something at least once a month out of my comfort zone. But I happen to really like my comfort zone so this one is going to be challenging. A couple highlights from 2020: handling strange sea creatures, eating a variety of prepared kelp, swimming in frigid water when our summer took its time to warm up.... Do you have any goals you want to focus on for 2021? I’d love to hear them, let me know in the comments.

Mother Nature has a cure for so many ailments. Our ancestors relied on her much more than we do now but we're proud to be part of a movement that looks to the Earth and its oceans for our healing ingredients. Have you ever opened one of our boxes of soaps to be surprised to find it wrapped in plastic? We don't blame you one bit if you have. But rest assured that isn't actual plastic wrap. It's a 100% biodegradable film made out of soy that you can compost once you unwrap your... soap bar. We all know discarded plastic is a pollution nightmare. It clogs up rivers, litters the ocean and beaches, kills fish, and chokes birds. It also makes its way up the food chain to us as the sea life that some of us consume mistakingly thinks plastic is food. Here at Sealuxe all of our packaging is made to be reusable, recyclable, or compostable. We care about our environment and it's so important for us to do our part. See more

Where Rose + Seaweed Toner really reaches deep into The Divine is that it also features bull kelp, a majestic-looking seaweed found along the coast of the British Columbia’s Great Bear Rainforest. Talk about synthesis: the kelp hydrates and soothes the skin while the rose turns back the clock on the aging process. You can even use our Rose + Seaweed Toner as a perfume or simply spray it in the air and walk through it!
