Ice is brutal this year, especially on houses with lots of heat loss. Getting calls about ice buildup. Trough is meant to survive the ice in the winter, until things warm up ice buildup is totally normal. Most downspouts are fully plugged with ice right now, the Brick house has continuous hanger. Grey & yellow house has steel trough. Two products we warranty that can handle it!!
