As a photographer there are times you put your product out from a shoot and it’s the last time you ever see it. Well today it was a privilege to walk in the Mayflower Mall and see a whole bunch of product shots we did for the folks at Island Sauce Co back a few months ago. A beautiful evening for a beautiful ceremony for all those love ones lost. Over 300 luminaries were set off Indian beach as a reminder of those loved ones lost. What a great event put together by the Northside/Harbourview Hospital Foundation

Sometimes these calls hit closer to home more then others and have a great way of showing how the fearless are still human. NSFD Captain Todd Hurley taking a minute to talk to a young victim of a structure fire telling him he will go search for anything he can find that belongs to him.(which he kept his word) Todd is a father like myself and human nature and a big heart shows through in situations like this where even in all the chaos you have to pay attention to who is involved and how it effects them. #northsydneyfirerescue @canadianfirefightermag #capebretonfirefighters #novascotiafirefighters

If there’s any one thing I can always say about working along side North Sydney Fire & Rescue is that I have nothing but respect for these men and women that run into a scene and make sure everyone is safe. This fire in particular took that to a whole new level. Firefighters MacMullin, Wall and Kehoe all went above the line of duty to enter a structure fire to make sure that even our little feline friends made it out safe and alive. Again, hats off to all volunteer firefighters out there that never question their own safety for for the sake of others big or small especially my hometown crew!

It was great to take part in the Mayors debate last night with @electmayormcdougall It is amazing to stand next to such a powerful person that has such a drive for the community we live in!

So flipping excited to be asked to be a part of the 2020 @nhl Draft. No..we won’t be going to Montreal, but there is a local guy who’s dreams are about to come true and we have been asked to be apart of it and document it!
