Today is Seaside Sweets Birthday, four years ago today our family first open the doors to our new business, then called the Candy Pit. Sooke has supported this humble little family shop for over seven years. We have been so fortunate to be loved by you. So, it is with heavy hearts that we announce the closing of our store front. Like for so many others 2020 has been most unkind. We entered the year preparing to sell a thriving & profitable business, we leave the year with ...our hearts hung on the darkened door. Specifics on dates, hours etc will follow in the coming days. But first we need a little time to gather ourselves for the goodbye. Online orders for baskets, birthday boxes and such will continue. This year we will not be hosting our wishing tree for the holidays. Instead, we ask that if you can, please make a donation to Sooke Transition House Society. Some communities have seen nearly double the calls for resources during the Covid 19 Pandemic. Sooke Transition House is doing good, meaningful work to support those impacted by domestic abuse. Every year we have received tremendous support from the community for granting wishes on our wishing tree, Sooke is so full of caring community-minded people! Thank you for your ongoing support
