Sea to Sky Park Services 30.10.2020

BC Parks are introducing Day-Use Passes at six BC Parks, starting July 27. To ensure the health and safety of our visitors and staff during the peak season, we’ve developed a free day-use pass program for specific trails/areas in six of our busiest parks: Cypress, Mount Seymour, Garibaldi, Golden Ears, Mount Robson (Berg Lake Trail) and Stawamus Chief (Chief Peaks Trail). The free day-use passes will be required as of July 27, 2020, and are part of a pilot program intended to... help us re-open busy areas and test the passes as a tool to manage overcrowding. The passes will be available through the Discover Camping website and will be released daily at 6 am PDT for same-day bookings. The number of passes available each day depends on the park. Garibaldi Park will also fully reopen (including camping) on July 27 with the introduction of day-use passes in select areas. For details about the types of passes and the areas they are required visit: http://www.bcparks.ca/reserve/day-use/ For more information about the passes visit: https://news.gov.bc.ca/22688
