You can never start the training too early!!! Brittany is not only a great monitor but a great mom to this little cutie, Jackson. We are proud to provide flexibility to support Brittany as a working mom!!!

Mexican Tuna Tags 2020 - PEI Fleet Update DFO has confirmed the release of the Mexican tuna quota to the PEI Fleet today. The PEI Fishermen’s Association (PEIF...A) will be distributing the Mexican quota tuna tags through the PEIFA office. DFO is issuing Mexican Draw numbers #326 to #344 inclusive and #1 to #69 inclusive for a total of 88 commercial tags which represents 100% of the estimated Mexican quota for the PEIFA. The cost is $915.00. The PEIFA office is open from Monday to Friday (8:30am to 4:30pm) for payment and pick up of Mexican tags. The PEIFA will notify fishers of their Mexican tag opportunity and fishers will have 3 business days from the time the fisher was notified, to purchase their Mexican tag from the PEIFA before the tag will be offered to the next on the draw list. This has been an issue in the past with fishers leaving it late to commit and leaves less time for other fishers next on the list to get their tag/fish. The fisher does not have to pick up their tag within 3 days but does have to commit by making payment in that timeframe. Payment can be made over the phone or in person at the PEIFA Office. Due to the volume of calls in the next few days, please note that if the tags/licensing PEIFA phone line is busy, please leave a message with your name and phone number and you will get a call back as soon as possible. Check out the link on our website under NEWS to view the Mexican draw list: https://peifa.org//PEI---Mexican-Tuna-Draw-list_2019-/no/1 Any questions on the Tuna management plan or the Mexican quota, please feel free to contact Ben Moore, DFO Charlottetown at (902) 370-7094. Any questions on the pick up or payment of Mexican tags, contact the PEIFA at (902) 566-4050 extension #1 (tags & licensing).

Today Declan and I changed it up a bit and hit the high seas. Special thanks to the captain and crew of Pier Pressure 2015 out of Tignish for the great day. #lobster #pei #futurefisherman
