Seniors, Fluad (injection, available end of October)... 3. Kids 2-17, Flumist (nasal spray, available now) Non-publicly funded: Fluzone HD (injection, no availability date) In practical terms, getting the protection of currently available vaccines outweighs the risk of waiting for a vaccine that may arrive later. Dear friends, I would like to extend my sincerest appreciation and gratitude to Ann Beardsell, the pharmacist that will graciously cover me for the week while Emily and I welcome our first born into this world. As the former Sechelt Hospital pharmacy manager, Ann brings immense knowledge and clinical experience.... Ann and her husband Kal own and operate Porpoise Bay Charters / Strongwater Tours. As an avid boater and hiker, Ann spends lots of time in the outdoors, taking in West Coast wonder. I would like to take this opportunity to thank everyone that offered help, support, and good wishes.
