Its official now, Naomi has retired from massage and Secluded Wellness is temporarily closed. Thank you everyone that has supported us for 8.5 years. Naomi is still offering consulting and administrative services

We don’t have an opening date any time soon. Reno’s and Getting proper PPE has been difficult as everyone is looking for the same thing. Whenever opening happens, we can’t operate at the same number of people per day. ... Many changes will happen and please take time to become comfortable wearing a mask. This will be part of our new normal

The new PPE requirements for clients and practitioner will be a change Clients will have to wear a mask protects from BIG Droplets being released into the air Clients may not like the idea of wearing a mask face down I can massage laying on your side. ... Here is a different solution for clients having to wear a mask. Whether it works or not big changes are happening - not my picture We still have no date of reopening due to obtaining all the new PPE that has become very hard to get and it’s expensive Naomi has done a lot of research on droplets and how they move and disperse especially since clients do accidentally spit on her- can’t help it hence all the new PPE rules.

We work on people’s stomachs first because many have abdominal pressure or organ movement (babies,surgery). So many people have trapped gas/air that puts pressure on ribs. This cause mid back pain, neck pain, sensitive tummy, etc Long video and accurately explained.

I know I’ve been quiet and not posted much. There wasn’t much to say until today. Yes, there are phases to reopening and everyone has different comfort levels with proximity to people. Massage is obviously very constant touch and droplets are exchanged during a session, it can’t be helped. ... Which is why many changes are coming to this profession including wearing masks, gloves, new clothes per client, no cloth furniture, no heating pads, etc. We have no immediate plans of reopening anytime soon and when we do I promise, it will be even more clean and safe (as I’m freaked out right now) we always washed our hands and were germ aware. When The time comes to reopen, we will just be working on current clients with many appointment restrictions. I’ve taken closing down very hard loosing both of businesses. I’ve been forced to stretch, drink water and take extra care of myself because I can’t go get a massage either. Knowing where you have been and limiting your circle may get you appointment as we are all very concerned right now for our health and safety. We want to know that you know who you have been in contact with. Hope your enjoying the sun and the change of pace.
