After so much running around this morning to get the correct tile edge trim and a new wet tile saw glass blade, I finally have one side just about finished up.
This year has been the year to tackle projects around our house, this is how we are spending our new years Eve this year. The old black tile has been removed and ready for the new lighter tile to be installed tomorrow. I will post more pictures as the project goes on.
Not much going on in the shop, I tend not to take many orders over the winter months as my shop is in my garage and it is not heated. My wife decided she wanted a shiplap wall in the powder room on the main floor, so a few weeks ago I did that for her. I have only just got around to putting up the side trim and started to paint this morning.
It has been a busy few days, helped my father in law paint the outside of his shop, made a wedding card box, installed faux shiplap in our kitchen area and front entrance and I have been painting it all day today.
The kitchen is finally back together, for now at least until we decide on the new backsplash tile. We are trying to brighten up our show box of a home and decided to paint our kitchen cabinets. We went from a dark stained wood to a very light shade of grey. Here is a before and after picture.
Getting closer to completing our kitchen cabinets, the last coat of primer was sprayed onto the last set of doors and drawer fronts this morning.
