From EPS: Just before 5:00 a.m. on April 4th, officers noticed a cyclist riding without headlights; because of the bylaw and traffic infractions, they stopped the rider. The rider was identified and found to have an outstanding warrant and was subsequently arrested. The suspect said the bicycle was his friend’s so officers seized the bicycle for safe keeping until the owner could be identified. Subsequent checks into the bike found that it was listed as stolen on BikeIndex.org and was returned to its rightful owner. Take the time to protect your ride; register your bike for free on Bike Index today!
