We have received so much support from United Way over the past several years with so many people benefiting from important programs. Perhaps consider them in your holiday giving?

So Excited about this beautiful mirror (Size: 44.5 X 33) painted by Merrill Heubach. This is what she says about the process... When this big old mirror landed at my doorstep I wondered what in the world I would do with it! The thick brown varnish on the narrow frame created a bit of panic. Then it came to me....make something whimsical, perhaps for a child’s room. The bird image is a lino cut stamp I made, which I used on torn pieces of canvas. Then the hand coloring began. The strips were glued onto the mirror surface to create a cheery border. The mirror can be hung horizontally or vertically. Good fun and a real diversion from my usual work. It is great to help Second Story Women’s Centre and I hope this piece brings some cheer during our sometimes not-so-cheery times. www.merrillheubachart.com Be sure to pick up your $5 ticket
