Potter, Patricia Ann (Powell) Sunday, May 18, 2014. At Quinte Health Care, Trenton Ontario. Best known as Granny she left her mark on the world trying to save it. It is with great loss we say good bye to a wonderful mother, a strong woman, a supportive wife, and the world’s best grandmother. ... She spent her life in appreciation of the wonder of nature and hell bent on saving it. She taught everyone the value of knowledge and never to argue anything unless you know your right! She should be proud of her life spent teaching sustainability and the generations of families who have followed her lead are her legacy. This same woman who would challenge a major corporation for their destruction of mother earth would share her morning tea with a wandering chipmunk or her favorite friend Herman the ermine. She was a terrible cook but a wonderful host, a strict diabetic until there were chocolate truffles around, she was an avid gardener and would panic if anyone mentioned harvesting her jungle. Her home was her haven yet she opened it to thousands to teach her values and ideas as she believed education was the key to actually making a difference. Her smile and laugh were infectious and will be sadly missed by her husband Charles Potter, Her loving daughters Kathleen, Toni, and Patricia (Tom), her adoring grandchildren, Jessica (Jason), Justin, Arianna, Grace, Charise, Georgia and Zayne and her great granddaughter, Isabelle. Mom you should be proud of your life! As we are proud of you! Memorial to be held on June 28th in Dunnville, ON; please contact for further details.
