As I used to work in accounting...I would love to see how the costing of these Nestle operations works; $3.71 for each one million litres?? That sounds incredible. If (and that's a BIG "IF") it is wise to sell our water to a foreign company instead of a local one, then surely it would be valued at more than that? I have heard tell of an old Zulu man in South Africa who had a dream that there was "gold" under a certain farm. Well, eventually they all realized that what had been revealed to him was that there was not "yellow gold" under him, but rather "clear gold", and the farm began to develop their own brand of bottled water...to the enrichment of everyone in their local area! Viva, wisdom, viva.

Hi friends. A reminder of our SEED reunion - Saturday July 23 - Rock Climbing at Harrison, followed by supper at the Gould’s. So far we have: - Yeses from Josh, Michael, Tamaya, Sarah - Maybe from Alexis... - Others !? we would love to see you again Even if you just come for supper it would be great to see youand since SEED is being discontinued, even more so! ------------ Hi All SEEDers, and staff (you are invited to the supper!) please RSVP. You are invited to a SEED reunion - Saturday July 23 - Rock Climbing at Harrison, followed by supper at the Gould’s. So, please confirm you can make it. Those of us already at camp can drive to Harrison together, and others can meet us in Agassiz, at 10 am at the Super Valu, 7024 Cheam Road. We will bring lunch from camp sandwich makings and drinks, and will bring all required gear, and a range of rock climbing shoes (but bring your own if you have them). We can plan to leave Harrison at about 5pm. Supper will be at the Gould house, 375 7th Ave, Hope. If it is rainingwe’ll have to adjust to a hike of sorts in the Hope areaand so the meeting place may change. Peace be with you, and we really look forward to seeing you again. NOTE: Geoff has hurt my backso it will not be wise for him to climbunfortunately. It was even not good for him to boulder on the lovely cut off tree in camps parking lot the other day (Michael tempted me ) see attached photo! Contact Geoff if you have any questions!

I just read this: "Public Justice: The political act of loving your neighbour". I am still chewing on it... Let us all do our part to make the world a better place for all.

Great high ropes training happening these days at Camp Squeah! Fun times, and good skills gained! Levi got 10/10 for this rope coil!

Hey, with great team work we all got the Squeah climbing wall holds cleaned, and new routes set for the next season! Well done everyone. Geoff had fun managing the project! The Gould and Larson boys tested all the routes to ensure they were age-appropriate, and possible.
