Our honours student, Ana Carolina de Barros, is seeking bisexual participants to participate in her research study on the positive aspects of identifying as bisexual. These aspects include freedom from labels, the acceptance and understanding of others, and the freedom to explore diverse relationships and experiences. You will also be asked questions about constructs such as satisfaction with life (how satisfied you are with your life as it is), outness (how open you are abou...t your sexual identity in your day-to-day life), and group identity (how much you identify with the bisexual community). The survey takes approximately 20 minutes and is completely anonymous. Please click the link below to begin the study, or share it with anyone who you think may qualify: https://www.surveymonkey.ca/r/VFPHFJT

**Seeking Lesbian Women to Participate in an Online Survey on Microaggressions and Wellbeing** If you identify as a lesbian woman and are at least 16 years of age, you are invited to participate in an online survey that focuses on your experiences that you have felt occurring due to your sexual orientation. For instance, we are interested in how hopeful you perceive yourself to be, and whether you perceive yourself to be flourishing. You also will be asked questions that add...ress possible attitudes and behaviours that you might have been met with due to your sexual identity. Your experiences and feelings are important and hearing your voice is critical. Hearing from you is the only way in which we can help address and combat systemic, institutional, and everyday discrimination. If you would like to participate, please click on the link to the questionnaire below. The survey will take approximately 20 minutes to complete. https://www.surveymonkey.ca/r/lesbianwomensurvey Given the time commitment that we are asking for, we would like to invite you to enter your name and contact information at the end of the survey for a chance to win one of five $100 VISA prepaid gift cards. Your responses are entirely confidential, and the information you will provide for the prize draw will not be linked to your survey responses. If you wish to learn more about this research, please contact Dr. Melanie A. Morrison (Professor and Associate Head of Department of Psychology; [email protected]) or Dr. Todd G. Morrison (Professor and Undergraduate Chair in the Department of Psychology; [email protected]). Thank you for considering to be involved in our study!
