Here’s a pic from the veggie box we delivered this weekend. Thanks to the amazing work of our friends at "On We Grow" farm in Maple Ridge for the crisp lettuce and The Cawston Market Farmer Inc. for the juicy tomatoes and apples (for Meal exchange only this week) that made our box even tastier than usual. Glad to be able to collaborate with such amazing folks!

Last weekend we started our veggie box program (CSA). We are feeding over 35 households this year! Thank you to our brave delivery driver Jason, that managed to squish in all those deliveries in one run ! Here is an example of some of the produce Seed of Lifers got for their first week!

Seed of Life Farm is excited to collaborate this year with Meal Exchange, a charitable organization providing a season subscription to our CSA box to a big group of students in the Greater Vancouver Area. Before Covid-19, 40% of post-secondary students were facing food insecurity, and now that number has risen. Subscriptions for our CSA are now open! We offer a weekly door to door delivery service from June 15th to October 15th, covering from Cloverdale to UBC. 2 box formats, with a "build your own box" option, which is a rare feature! We grow a wide variety of delicious vegetables, and collaborate with farmer friends to bring you all sorts of fun add-ons for your box! SEED OF LIFE IS BACK! Yes! After an incredible year of travels around the world, from eclectic and mind blowing India to the small authentic farmer villages of Romania, we have had the great chance of discovering a world filled with inspiring people. With our hearts full and minds wide open we are happy to come back to our beloved West Coast and bring back our passion to life! In these crisis times, we can feel how important it is to support our community and be there for ea...ch other. And fear none, we are here, working hard to prepare a year filled with bounties of delightful veggies for you. Now newly located in Surrey on a piece of land we have been offered by our dear friends Oyster and King / Coast mushrooms (check them out to fill your fridges with the best mushrooms you have ever eaten) we are in full motion and happy to offer you a veggie box program again this year. Keep updated as we will create a CSA application form in no time! Briefly, this year like the previous ones we will offer a wide variety of fresh vegetables grown following organic principles, with the regeneration of the land always in mind. A box delivered to your door will be offered starting officially in June (with possibility of a pre-season box) all the way to October. We can’t wait for you to taste the crisp and fresh flavors of food grown with love, just a few kilometers from your house. Seed of Life Farm went M.I.A.! Yes we went on Magical International Adventures! Don’t worry, we have not lost our love for growing food, we are simply wanting to farm our souls and minds this year! Yes we are taking a season off from farming to discover the world in it’s cultures and AGRIculture. Observing how it’s done depending on the different challenges faced in each region, learning clever new or ancient farming techniques, getting inspired by cool initiatives and listen...ing to the great stories and thoughts of farmers around the globe is all part of our objectives. Seed of Life Farm also wants to keep on the path of a social venture and the world is filled with amazing projects that we are excited to hear about. So far we have met 2 great groups of people in India focusing on intensive self sustainability, teaching its principles and also teaching non-violent protesting against the worlds biggest issues. We met a super diversified land warrior in Sri Lanka that saved acres of heavy chemically abused soil and transformed it into a luscious medicinal forest and productive food and tea farm. Also in Sri Lanka we met with Amanda Kiessel, founder of Goodmarket a super great platform making connections and bringing to the eyes of the world, people that create positive changes for the planet and its people. We will make a full post about her shortly, because you need to know and maybe join her platform! Our next adventures will be in Thailand and Cambodia followed by a visit to our friends at Tokushiba organic green tea farm in Japan and much more! We are working on getting ourselves some better equipment to be able to share with you in the form of a blog all our fulfilling and exciting discoveries!

Gotta think about the total energy and resources required to make and dispose of things. Recycling is great but to reduce and reuse makes a greater impact.

Tonight we are at the Dixon craft fair in Richmond. Got some Jams, herbal teas and Tokushiba tea from Japan! Come join the festivities! Lots of great vendors and fun and pizza.

Here today at the Nikkei Center craft fair. Tons of vendors with all kinds of goodies. We have some of Toshi's organic tea from Japan, finest quality from Tokushiba farm! Also have some jams and herbal teas. Until 5 pm.

Tonight we will be at the Maple Green craft fair. Come say hi and grab some jams n' preserves!

Today we're at St Helen's craft fair with some jams, jellies, syrups and teas. There are lots of beautiful tables set up here so come check it out! 9-2 3871 Pandora St.

Today is the start of the UBC winter markets! Only 10-noon. So keep an eye on the clock! We still have some tasty greens, lots of squash, potatoes, onions and I been jamming like crazy so your tooth can remain sweet if you like it that way. See ya there!
