Kallis Seedrioru Seltskond/Dear Seedrioru Community, We are pleased to see that parts of Ontario are moving into Phase 3 of reopening! We are now be able to expand our list of activities that will be permitted on Seedrioru property, and expand our gatherings to groups larger than 10! However, please continue to practice social distancing (2m) with non-household members, and wear masks when possible. Note that the sauna and kitchen/hall facilities are still closed to the publi...c. The grounds (ie. all outdoor spaces) are open for day use by the community and guests. Use of the pond should be done with caution, as it is still filling and the sauna dock is incapacitated. Examples of permitted activities include: -walking leashed dogs -picnics on the field -tubing with personal tubes -using the playground -playing volleyball -lasketiir (for TEPP members) -talgud (see list of talgud work required) Please note that camping is still not permitted, as we do not have proper washroom facilities or power to provide tenters. If consuming alcohol, please do so responsibly and respectfully. Reminder: no open fires are allowed on community property without express permission from the Board, and when conditions allow (ie. no fire ban). If you are interested in helping with talgud, please email the maintenance leader [email protected], or for pond-related work [email protected]. All indoor talgud will still require masks (to protect others that may enter that indoor space after you), and we ask that this work be done in family or small groups. Keep in mind to wash hands often, and sanitize surfaces that are frequently touched, where possible. Kaheksakand/8-Point Protection Star Wednesday July 15- 6pm Sign on to our Online Camp Zoom call tomorrow at 6pm, with 8 long, thin, straight sticks and some glue (white glue will do, for older kids or with parental supervision hot glue may be faster) to follow along and make your very own Kaheksakand! Kallid lastevanemad / Dear parents, Seedrioru Suvekodu oleks alganud tuleval pühapäeval. Kahjuks, Covid-19 tõttu laager jääb ära, kuid oleme taustal kavandanud mõnda veebisündmust ja allalaaditavat tegevust, et sellest saaks meie "veebilaager", et teie lapsed saaksid olla ühenduses üheteistega ja Seedrioruga. Seedrioru Summercamp would've started this coming Sunday. Unfortunately, camp was cancelled due to Covid-19, but we have been working in the background, planning some o...nline events and downloadable activities to become our "online camp" to allow your children to stay connected to each other and to Seedrioru. Virtuaalne laager algab sel pühapäeval (5. juuli) kell 1:30! Virtual camp starts this Sunday (July 5th) at 1:30! Jätkame tegevuste lisamist veebisaidile ja koostame teisi veebisündmusi kogu juulikuu jooksul. Need on lühikesed sündmused, mida saab kergesti kodus teha ja mis ei nõua suurt kohustust. We will continue to add activities to the website and will schedule other online events throughout the month. These will be short events that are easily done from home that do not require a great amount of commitment. Campers may participate as much or as little as they wish, as their schedules permit.
