self love is for your self love is for your self love is for yourself. How are you loving yourself? Accepting yourself? Honoring the self? There are so many questions I can ask you to help you go inward & reflect on the ways in which you are showing up for yourself. Learning how to fill the space we’ve left open for others by relying on your own support to be there for you. I remind people that what others and objects give us is an addition not a completion & working on self love is ongoing. In a time of social distancing and isolation remember that the love we give ourselves is just as worthy.

A semicolon is used when an author could’ve chosen to end their sentence, but chose not to. You’re the author, the sentence is your life. - Project Semicolon It’s suicide prevention month & today is World Suicide Prevention Day. We lose someone to suicide every 40 seconds so this needs to be more than a month of building awareness, reviewing policies, breaking the stigma, making resources more accessible, promoting equitable access to services in communities that are high risk, reaching out to friends, providing tools, teaching, supporting, loving, being non-judgmental & creating a space to feel safely. Death by suicide is a collective problem and requires a collective effort to reduce the risk. I know this word comes with fear, discomfort, shame, guilt, and sadness so let’s talk about it together.

If we didn’t have categories for our feelings we would just feel then ask ourselves what do I need. I visual colours for each emotion seeing how it moves through my body, where it lives, where it occupies the most space than I bring about a new emotion and see them blending together. We can move through this chaos just by feeling.

I’m so honored that I had the opportunity to develop my own personal practice while becoming a teacher! I can’t wait to share what I have learned in this sacred practice and honor the traditions of classical yoga. When I started this journey I always said If I did go to a studio, I only felt comfortable in the back of the room. Creating an accessible & safe place for your mat requires an understanding on how to be inclusive of all bodies, of all breaths & of all abili...ties. I look forward to overlapping my skills to provide another tool to add to your kit. Thank you @yogaspaceto See more
