Well folks... given the new government timeline it looks like we’re closed until at least January 8th. I’ve looked at the essential items list and the only things we can sell let someone in for are lights fixtures (we have some amazing ones) and door knobs (which we barely have any of). If you have a need for those items let us know and we can show you what we have. That is all you will be able to view and buy in person though. Stand together with those who are made to feel apart. I care deeply for my friends, relations and extended family, many of whom are non white and have faced racism and prejudice in their lives. Biases and prejudices are learned... they can be unlearned.

We will begin opening with restricted hours today. We ask that: You bring and wear a mask You come with the intent to buy or sell (no casual browsing) You refrain from touching anything unnecessarily ... We thank you for your cooperation and understanding while we figure out our new normal.

It seems the time has come! Per Provincial regulations we are allowed to reopen on Monday May the 4th. To adhere to the regulations while our customer parking spot in the back will be available you will have to walk around the building and enter through the front door (only one entrance is allowed). ... We will be restricting the number of people allowed at any one time and ask that you please bring and wear a face mask. We will also be restricting touching of items and ask that people only come with a purpose. Casual browsing and killing time will be discouraged. Please call ahead if you are bringing items to sell so we can arrange a safe process to do so.

Previously we bought lunch for a couple of dozen healthcare workers. This week we've made a donation to Winnipeg Harvest to help them refill their shelves so Manitobans who require their services right now can get the help they need. Please help if you're able.

This supports both our health care workers and a great local restaurant. Other than staying home this is the best we can do to thank our dedicated front liners... we sponsored a couple of dozen this week, enjoy the treats!
