Canada Revenue Agency is offering the following webinars in October: Seniors Benefits and Credits Presentation on October 8, 2020 and October 28, 2020 from 1:30 2:30pm... Doing your taxes has its benefits! Benefits, credits and deductions you could be eligible for are the Disability Tax Credit, GST/HST credit, medical expenses, Canada caregiver credit and pension income splitting. Other government departments also use your tax information to calculate your payments, such as the guaranteed income supplement. If you do your taxes after the filing deadline, your payments could be delayed. Tip for you: Having trouble reading by lamplight? Try switching your bulbs to LED daylight. The difference is amazing, especially if you have cataracts developing. This is an easy, inexpensive tip. There are expensive lights available but this works just as well with your existing lamps.
