Advice to Finance Minister Bill Morneau, it would be a really great time to force the banks to give Canadians a holiday on their credit card interest charges. ...No bank needs to be making 29% interest right now. It’s unconscionable during a crisis like the one we are facing around the globe today. This is both a health pandemic & an economic tidal wave . The City of Brampton isn’t charging late fees or interest during this pandemic. It wouldn’t be right while we face such adversity to profit off the crisis. Now over to the big banks.... Do the right thing!
