Some very exciting news Spencer and I are thrilled to share. The Alzheimer's Podcast hosted by Christy Turner has been something we have idolized for years. The idea of ever being a guest on her show was something we never imagined. We took a chance and reached out in March and was given the opportunity to appear on her podcast. Please take 20 minutes of your day to listen to episode 145, where you will hear Spencer, and I talk about our book "Any Game For Any Brain." Thank you for your endless support. https://podcasts.apple.com//the-alzheimers-p/id1236479650

As a company, we have been running our business on compassion, love, and always putting seniors' needs before anything else. We have partnered up with a similar company, The Health Depot pushing towards fewer drugs with our seniors, cleaner health, and services directed to help. Any products bought through the link below will help families pay for extra care needs at home. When you are shopping, please ensure you see https://thehealthdepot.ca/?ref=SeniorSupport. ... What do they have? They are not only an online platform to access doctors and pharmacists. They provide over the counter products, including CeraVe face cleaner, bandaids, vitamins, Tylenol, shampoo and more. Instead of going to the store, shop online and support our senior community. https://thehealthdepot.ca/?ref=SeniorSupport

Here at Senior Support Services we love reading with our clients Individuals in the middle-to-late stages of their dementia may enjoy listening to someone read out loud to them, or looking through a book together. Or they may also enjoy flipping through a familiar magazine from when they were younger or even from their career. #dementiacare #readingtherapy

The coronavirus pandemic has put our senior’s health and wellness at the forefront of conversations today. Because older adults are especially vulnerable to severe complications from COVID-19, we have been putting extra attention on keeping them as safe as possible, which has been excellent. However, unfortunately, we see the side effects of social isolation for our older adults, including depression, anxiety, confusion, and general loneliness. It is often very stressful know...ing the right thing to do with visits and helping them in their home. At Senior Support Services, all staff are highly trained and experienced in providing compassionate person-centered care effectively and safely for you or your loved one. We believe in the importance of open and transparent communication with family members. We understand how important it is for compatibility between the client and the caregiver; therefore, our caregivers are carefully chosen for each client. If you are interested in learning more about how we might be able to support your loved one, please reach out to 519-770-5503 or email [email protected].
