We are hiring! We have a very recent request from one of our clients and need to hire upwards of 40 team members throughout the Cape Breton area and also into the mainland as far as Pictou. These will be static postings at various locations. CBRM mayor and council have started a program to help us recognize and reward those in our community that are hard at work and safely helping the public with care, compassion and a smile on their face. Congratulations to our team member, Gordie Farmer, who has been nominated. Gordie comes to work each day with a smile on his face and is helpful and kind to all. Dedicated isn't a strong enough word to describe the type of man he is. Gordie is also heavily involved with raising... money to support children's mental health and through his own charity, Bottles 4 Kids, has raised thousands of dollars in the local area. We have an expression at work with new employees, just watch what Gordie does then do that. We are proud to have him on our team and I'm even more proud to call him my friend. One of our team members recently lost their home due to fire. I just want to thank our staff (who are the best) for their generosity and giving spirit. We all dug in and came together to help out and maybe provide a little piece of comfort in this trying time for his family. Each and every one of you that donated helped lift their spirits and that may be much more important than money right now. Also, a huge thank you to Tom MacKenzie and Atomic Records and Collectables for their generous donation to help rebuild a life long passion of collecting that was lost. As always, great job guys.
