Ox is the second in the 12-year cycle of the Chinese zodiac sign. Years of the Ox include 1913, 1925, 1937, 1949, 1961, 1973, 1985, 1997, 2009, 2021, 2033... Oxen used to be capable farming tools in an agricultural society, which attach to the symbol of diligence, persistence, and honesty. People born in the Year of the Ox are strong, reliable, fair and conscientious, inspiring confidence in others. They are also calm, patient, methodical and can be trusted. Although they say little they can be very opinionated. They believe strongly in themselves, but are also stubborn and hate to fail or be challenged. and so we celebrate Year of The Ox with our Friday, Feb. 12th meal offering. On Sunday December 20th SOS Lounge will be making up batches of our HOT Apple Fritters in the morning, and delivering them locally as SURPRISES to those who matter most to you. Kinda like an edible holiday card. ... We will be offering our ‘Fritter-Grams’ as a single fritter, or 1/2 dozen options. They will be ‘contactless’ delivered to the stoop addresses YOU provide to us. We shall make the presence of your gift known by ringing the doorbell (knocking on the door) and leaving your recipient to open your ‘sweet hello’. Each Fritter will come neatly in a box like this with an endearing or funny note hand written by you, or that we’ve been instructed to write.
