It's hard to describe the winter wonderland at Serenity Cove, it's almost better than summertime! Besides the hot tub, fireplaces, games room and tons of snow, the deer come to visit every day. Now that rentals are allowed we are so happy to be welcoming guests again. During our first year of opening we asked guests to tell us of improvements we could make. One example was the access to the dock. The previous cottage owners had a stepping rock set up leading down to the dock and our guests told us that older members of their family found it difficult. We agreed and last week Gary Breau, a local contractor extraordinaire, completely rebuilt and expanded our deck and included stairs and a handrail. He did an amazing job. We listened and we will continue to listen.

Awesome news! We still have June 27th to July 4th available as well as August 29th to September 5th for this summer. Come stay with us!

Once we are cleared to rent again,(hopefully!), here’s a great option for guests who want to rent a boat while staying with us. We’ve got the dock, bring, or rent, a boat. Eagle’s Rest is about a 10 minute boat ride from Serenity Cove.

Here’s a great way for guests and friends to see more of the Madawaska and it’s so very close to Serenity Cove. Kim Musson, Jill Batchelor, Jaine Thompson and Diane Green, how about this instead of tubing or hiking,(ice cream eating) this summer? Sloth sits up front.

@denbee.honey hives in winter compared to summer. Bees are active all year - right now they are clumped together making sure the queen stays warm. Outside is ...-24 C but inside is a tropical +30 C!
