Oh Hemi, what an exciting life. Senior Hemi came into our care none the worse for wear after he was found locked in a shipping container. The shipping container... was locked in Salmon Arm, picked up from its location and opened 9 days later by a surprised trucker. Mr Hemi was promptly escorted to Shuswap Veterinary clinic, where he was checked over, and after a clean bill of health we picked him up. Hemi had a tattoo in his ear and after some investigation we found it was linked to an Edmonton vet clinic. The owner was contacted and was shocked to learn that Hemi was alive in Salmon Arm, since he had disappeared from Prince George over 4 years ago and was presumed dead! Someone has clearly been looking after Hemi for all of those years, but we have not been able to find them. So Hemi's original dad has asked us to find Hemi a great home where he will be loved and cherished. Hemi is a very social guy, he loves to talk and is very easy going. Hemi came by his name because he was all purrs like a Hemi truck when he was a baby. Things haven't changed much, he's still all purrs. James is still missing. It’s been a whole week with out any sightings at all and we are devastated. Thank you to everyone who’s reached out and who’ve been on t...he look out. He was last seen on Seymour and may be on his way to the corner of Peterson and South rd. Please come home James !!! We miss you See more
