Many live-in caregivers were waiting impatiently for the Selection kits. Finally, Immigration Quebec has started printing and sending out kits to those caregivers who are part of the old Live-in program and who were approved in principle by Immigration Canada. Our clients will be notified shortly as soon as we receive their kits. Some of you will receive an e-mail by the end of the day today! *** please don’t forget that it is illegal for third parties who do not have a licence from Immigration Quebec to offer you paid immigration advice. The kits are entirely in French and they require thorough preparation. (photo: selection kits already received for some of our clients)

GOOD NEWS FOR IN-HOME CAREGIVERS CURRENTLY IN QUEBEC If you are working in Quebec as an in-home caregiver, you probably have heard that it’s not possible to become PR if you don’t speak French. Well, that is not always true. There are still options for English-speaking caregivers who don’t want to move to other provinces to become PR. If you have been working in Quebec for at least 6-12 months as in-home caregiver, you may already have what it takes, depending on your profes...sional and personal profile. To get assessed and explore your options in Quebec, contact us for an appointment at [email protected]

That moment when you realize: OMG, my family is now in Canada This is how a happy family looks like when they finally see each other at the airport in Canada :) Dyesa is one of the latest approved permanent residents. Her husband and son also arrived yesterday from the Philippines. All the efforts and sacrifices she has made as a live-in caregiver did pay off: Dyesa is now reunited with her family and they are all Canadian permanent residents. Let’s wish them good luck in their new adventures in the province of British Columbia!
