Welcome to our third installment of INCI (inky) Info where we dive deeper into the ingredients that are listed on the back of your beauty products so you can ma...ke educated choices on your purchases. Today, we’re becoming experts on Niacinamide (also known as Vitamin B3). It’ll be no surprise why we (and so many others) are obsessed with this ingredient; here are two featured products that contain it: Antioxidant Infusion Serum and Revitalizing Eye Cream. Why we love Niacinamide: A water-soluble vitamin, it works instinctively with your skin and has a versatility for almost any skincare concern. Visibly tightens pores, and softens fine lines by strengthening the skin's barrier function. Evens and brightens skin tone by activating energy in red blood cells. Works intuitively within your routine as it has been shown to boost the hydrating ability of moisturizers. How to Use Niacinamide in your routine: Apply 1-2 pumps of Antioxidant Infusion Serums AM and PM. Gently apply a small amount of Revitalizing Eye Cream with fingertip around eye area. What’s your favorite Niacinamide product in your routine and why? Let us know in the comments below!

Not everybody is willing to give up meat nor are they convinced that doing so will help with the climate crisis. In fact, some say animal agriculture, if done r...ight; may be part of the solution. In this piece (2 minute read) from August 20, 2019 titled, "Regenerative Farming: Can Meat Save the Planet?" from Stuff, reporter Bonnie Flaws suggests grazing animals are vital to the fix. "Meat doesn't have to be off the menu, but check if it has come from regenerative producers." writes Flaws. Regenerative farming is an organic practice that involves crop rotation, compost application, cover cropping, conservation tillage, and rotational grazing. This supports carbon sequestration. No matter where we chose to get our protein from one thing can be certain. If we want to eat for the climate we need to be asking questions on the agricultural practices behind our food and demanding change. See more
