What under the needle today. One more bag to complete.
Well with this Covid we have been busy making masks for our residents. And now have moved on to help with Canada Sews. Meanwhile prepping for classes and trying too get stock done for the business. A busy time, but so far made it through with just a cold and it's gone, yahoo

Proto type has vent for filters. Interfaced with non-woven on both layers for extra shielding. Have boiled them to see how they would stand up for sterilizing.... Take them in tomorrow to see if these are what the Dr. Wants I know they cant be used in ICU or ER but perhaps they can help in other areas so we can divert the others to where we are having shortages. My latest project
Now have it plugged in and running. To make something and try it, perhaps another turtle neck. But this time a little bigger, I was amazed how that pattern shrunk, and was a little snug on me. Ha ha !!!!
Well it is official, I have returned to teaching, as well as continuing with our business. I will be teaching at CEDERS SEWING CENTRE in Penticton BC. Our coarse layout was approved, he actually couldnt believe the information included in the handouts. So in conclusion our 1st class will be BASIC EMBROIDERY. I am working on another flannel shirt for class. One of the designs has over 73,000 stitches and takes approx 4 hours to stitch out. There are 9 in this shirt, itll be a cracker. Pics to follow.
It looks like I may go back to teach, something I always enjoyed tremendously. I am putting together a beginner embroidery coarse. Its amazing when you start writing it out just how much is involved. I have the sample shirt completely. Just have a look!! The back consist of a combination of 7 designs mergered sized and stitch modification, front is 2 designs merged , sized and stitch modifications. It is made out of white flannel, great for cool evenings out RVing!!

Well we have been hard a work recently, now we are all set up, including getting a new machine,. The Husqvarna Epic!!!! Have been trying out some new things on it.

Well we have busy these past couple of months. That studio I talked about was finally finished and I have been sewing like theres no tomorrow, getting ready for the West Coast Xmas show. Two views of the studio.

Have completed 40 oven pinchers, some in retro colours. Now to work on the pillows.
We are now starting our knee and neck pillows. We introduced these last year at theTradex Christmas Show, and sold out on our first day. We will be doing them in some of our Wild prints as well as traditional colours and fabrics.
