An annual seasonal flu vaccine is the best way to help protect against flu. Vaccination has been shown to have many benefits including reducing the risk of flu illnesses, hospitalizations and even the risk of flu-related death in children. There is no evidence that getting a flu vaccine inc...reases your risk of getting sick from a coronavirus, like the one that causes COVID-19. As the smoke remains over Vancouver, it's important to recognize its implications with COVID-19. Some symptoms, like dry cough, sore throat, and difficulty breathing can be caused by both wildfire smoke exposure and COVID-19. As the youth of BC return to school this week we wanted to wish the parents out there a safe and smooth transition! We know its been hard for many, either having to transition to work from home and have kids at home as well, or from having to help their children navigate a new way of learning.
