Change your clock, test your smoke alarms! Some of today’s newer smoke alarms don’t need the batteries to be replaced annually, but ALL smoke alarms need to be working. Smoke alarms should be tested monthly by pushing the test button.

Simonds is currently engaged in a mutual aid with St. Martins. If you see the fire fighters or apparatus please use caution.

October 18 23 is National School Bus Safety Week. Failing to stop for a school bus can result in a fine of more than $2000 and criminal charges for dangerous driving. Remember, it’s always the right time to be safe - so stop on red.

This weekend some of our members went through VFIS training. This is a drivers training course that teaches fundamentals and technical driving skills we need to know to safely operate these large vehicles. When you see us on the road give a wave to say hi and thank all the volunteers for the time they put in for our community.
