It saddens us to say that Megan Holmes will be stepping down from her position as President of SFUSAT. She has dedicated countless hours to expanding the initiatives of the team and ensuring the quality and success of our projects over her term. For the past couple months, we, at SFU Satellite Design Team and UBC Orbit have been dedicating countless hours to a collaborative project to bring our students' exemplary efforts and talent in the aerospace field to fruition. We are extremely excited to announce our latest project, ALEASAT, a 1U CubeSat that will investigate the physiological effects of long-term human spaceflight and will take photos of Earth, serving as an educational outreach tool for space enthusiasts around the world.
