Taking a minute to say a HUGE thank you to everyone who has reached out! Your support, well wishes, blessings of meals, text messages, caring for my children... I’m so overwhelmed by you all and your love. Thank you so so much! . . Sometimes it’s really hard being so far away from family in moments like this (and other times too) but the community we have here is so incredible and I am so blessed by and thankful for each one of you!

Sharing a bit from my heart today... . So I’m a busy yourself kind of person. You know that kind of person. The person that finds taking time to rest a hard even daunting task when I know there is so much to be done. Whether it’s work, laundry, cooking, playing with my kids, making beds, cleaning the house, tidying up, going on adventures there is always something to do! . . One thing I’ve learned in the last 24 hours is that I can’t wait for a big thing like surgery to kno...ck me down and force me to rest every time I should take a minute for myself. So while I am being forced to rest I will be working at home meaning I’ll finish up sessions and get back to all you amazing clients who are inquiring for various sessions BUT I will also be slowing down to reflect and figure out how to allow rest in my life when I’m not having to elevate my foot. . . God has been knocking at this door in my life for some time but it took a huge thing like surgery to let Him in. Don’t let it take that long for you. Make sure you take care of yourself amongst all the busy things you feel like you should be doing. Those things and activities will still be there but your physical, emotional and mental health need to be taken care of first. You are worth it! . . God calls us to love our neighbours as ourselves. It doesn’t ever say ignore yourself and only love others. Such a big reminder for me. . . If you made it to the end of this thank you for reading!
