The Shamrock Curling Club 10.02.2021

The Shamrock’s Board of Directors has made the difficult decision to end the 2020-21 curling season. Despite all of our best efforts to provide a safe and positive experience for our curlers, ongoing provincial restrictions and financial limitations have made the resumption of this season unfeasible. For info re: league fee options, check your email or our website. You can continue to support the Shamrock by purchasing 50/50 tickets, and you can still enjoy @drift_foodtruck by ordering online!! We look forward to welcoming you back next season, and wish you good health until we meet again!

WE MISS YOU! And in an effort to help keep our Shamrock community connected, we have a little "contest" that will enable us to "see" one another during the holidays, at leastin a virtual sense. Keep #shamrockconnected Contest: 1. Post a pic of yourself on social media (e.g., Twitter, Facebook, Instagram). If possible, arrange a virtualmeeting with your team and post a screenshotof your team's virtual meeting!... 2. Tag@ShamrockCurling and #shamrockconnected in your posting, and share your holiday greeting for the Shamrock community (feel free to improvise). 3. On January 2nd I will randomly draw a winner among all the posts. The winner(s) will receive a Shamrock/Drift t-shirt(s) and a Shamrock pitcher of beer coupon. **This contest is in no way affiliated with Facebook or Instagram. Contest closes Friday January 1 at midnight MST. The prize includes a Shamrock/Drift t-shirt(s) and a Shamrock pitcher of beer coupon. The winner will be contacted on January 2nd. Must be a resident of Edmonton and surrounding area and be able to pick up the prize from the Shamrock Curling Club. Must be 18 years of age or older. No entry limit.

"If it is not your shot, please find a dot." We implemented the "dot system" this season to ensure safe distancing for everyone (including the opposing team and our ice-technicians). Thank you Shamrockers for following best practices for social distancing, and for making a successful first month at the Shamrock possible!

The Shamrock Curling Club 26.10.2020

Our "dot system" has been working great this first week back! Lots of safe spacing in the ice area and our staggered start times helped to mitigate congestion in our now spacious lobby. Thank you to our curlers for following our Guidelines! #socialdistancing
