October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month. Today more than ever, it is important to get screened regularly with a mammogram because a mammogram can assist wit...h early cancer detection. Breast cancer is the most common cancer in Ontario women. One in eight women will be diagnosed with breast cancer in her lifetime. In Ontario, breast cancer happens mostly in women ages 50 to 74 (61 percent of cases). Though it is not at all uncommon to see women being diagnosed at younger and younger ages. Today and every day, let’s all continue to support the fighters, admire the survivors, honour the ones we’ve lost, and never, ever give up HOPE. #breastcancerawareness #breastcancer #cancer #breastcancersurvivor #cancersucks #pinkribbon #survivor #mastectomy #breastcancerawarenessmonth #breastcancerwarrior #chemotherapy #breastcancerfighter #womenshealth #cancerawareness #chemo #pink #breastcancersupport #cancerfighter #cancerwarrior #fightlikeagirl #breastcancercare #love #thinkpink #breastcancersucks #health #hope #windsor #lakeshore #yqg

Are you taking your supplements incorrectly? Self-prescribing supplements can become overwhelming for a wide variety of reasons. The majority of our ne...w patients who self-prescribe supplements will often follow the recommendations on the label. But did you know that this isn't always the right dose for you? We are all unique individuals and so we don't all need the exact same dosage, frequency or duration of supplementation as each other. Other factors such as our age, any conditions that impact our rates of absorption, our height and weight, and general health status will also affect the best way to take a certain supplement. Supplements can be incredibly powerful tools to support good health and eradicate disease states but they are easily frustrating and a strain on your bank account when used incorrectly. Working with a naturopathic doctor or other qualified health care provider will take the guesswork out of how to get the most out of your supplements and how to impact your health in the most powerful and efficient ways. #supplementation #vitamins #minerals #yqg #lakeshore #tecumseh #windsor #lasalle #valerowellness #lakeshoreoasis #healthy #wellness #vitality
