Almost a year late, my new "it's a whole new world" letter of engagement is done. If you see any typo's, let me know. :D Cursing isn't at typo. Acting professional is silly. :P https://docs.google.com//1DRZc2ilVT7J_jNCm8d5IQtRMfp-/edit

Best video summary on crypto I've seen. https://youtu.be/v0V_zkng4go The only point I favour that was missed has to do with currency investment vs equity investment as a financial tool. But that's very niche.

CRA tweeted about their info page for the new flat-rate deduction for working from home. I'm curious how well it works. https://twitter.com/CanRevAgency/status/1353713001954762752

Happy New Year! And with the new year comes my new 2021 rates. 2020 gave us a 1.39% average inflation rate according to the StatCan common CPI measure, so my fees are increasing by 3.4% this year. New rate:... $1137 for singles. $1448 for couples. An increase of $37 and $48 per year, respectively. Or for those on monthly, just under 3 or 4 dollars per month. As a reminder, you won't see the new fees until your next annual review. And for those few of you still on my original LoE, this has no effect on you.

It's brand new, and I have little idea what it is, but I'm starting my "Advanced Certificate in 3H planning." So, that's a thing. It's new, directly from my regulator, and was 25% off if I paid during 2020. So, here I go! Reading the summary of the courses, I think it's basically a "do your job the way you're already doing it" course in my case. I doubt they were expecting people like me to use it since I'm already doing it. But whatever, CE credits need to be collected. And ...I'm glad the industry is slowly slogging on ahead regardless of all the push-back from big money. https://youtu.be/XpDpNqmTuRA
