Do you prefer colour or B&W? I love this photo from Brenda & Brendan's wedding day. I personally love the B&W version, but the warm his in the colour are also beautiful, so tell me in the comments... Which do you prefer?

Three reasons why I love first looks... Doing a first look on your wedding day isn't for everyone, and I will never insist you do something on your wedding day that isn't in line with your vision. I will say, though, I love shooting first looks and here why: They are intimate - if you someone who doesn't lavish in the extra attention of a wedding day. Doing a first look is the way to go! We take you far from the sight of your friends and family. So it's just the two of you.... I shoot from a distance, so I can't hear what you say to one another, and you can take as much time as you need to enjoy the moment. They happen before your ceremony. Why is this on my list? It's your wedding day, don't you want to spend as much of your day together? If you do a first look, it means that you don't have to wait till after the ceremony and after the portraits to enjoy each other. This also means more time to spend with your guests. With all your photos done before the ceremony, you can attend your cocktail hour while I take candids of you and your guests enjoying the food and drinks. You can do your portraits and wedding party photos anywhere. With only an hour or two between your ceremony and reception, we have to be mindful of going off-site for photos. If you plan your first look early enough, we can go anywhere. How about your favourite coffee shop, brewery or stroll through your favourite town. Want to while to Dundas Peak for a beautiful backdrop, excellent... We'll have time for that. Let me know your thoughts about a traditional first look vs a pre-ceremony first look.

Hey Foodies Anything goes on your wedding day! How about wowing your guests with #tacos for dinner @50pesosfresh catered Cayleih & James back yard reception, and their guests love it. ... Hiring your favourite food truck for a few hours means your guests can order what they want when they want. Cayleih and James, we're able to invite all their guests by spacing out their guest list into three groupings. With time to sanitize in between. I love how creative this pandemic has made couples: the ideas, the vibes, the food. What out of the box idea would you love to see at weddings.

I've been a wedding photographer for nine years. In those nine years, I've only shared a few photos from each wedding or couples shoot.
