Here is your Greater Vancouver December 2020 Housing Market Update! The change of housing needs and low interest rates have been key drivers to local buyer demand and seller supply in 2020! Here is the December 2020 data:... Detached homes: 1,026 SOLD, a 71.3% increase from the 599 detached sales recorded in Dec. 2019! Benchmark price for detached homes: $1,554,600. This is a 10.2% increase from Dec. 2019 and a 1% increase compared to Nov. 2020. Apartments/condos: 1,474 SOLD, a 40% increase compared to the 1,053 sales in Dec. 2019. Benchmark price for apartments: $676,500. This is a 10.2% increase from Dec. 2019 and a 1% increase compared to Nov. 2020. Townhomes: 593 SOLD, a 62.9% increase compared to the 364 sales in Dec. 2019. Benchmark price for townhomes: $813,900. This is a 4.9% increase from Dec. 2019 and a 0.1% decrease compared to Nov. 2020.
