Join us in congratulating Avery Titchkosky on becoming our newest Associate Architect! With recent expansions to the SHAPE Architecture team, Avery Titchkosky has been appointed an Associate. Avery joins Associates Loretta Kong and David Guenter in leading design staff at our Vancouver Office. A little background: Avery joined us in 2014, and has contributed to a number of high-profile projects in the office. Most recently, Avery is Project Architect for Maple Grove Elementar...y in Vancouver, which is currently under construction. He has also been instrumental in refining the design culture of the studio, by optimizing technology implementation and introducing internal training session. Drawing on his diverse experience and education, he’s looking forward to offering a new perspective at the leadership level at SHAPE Architecture. Congrats Avery! #TeamSHAPE See more

We’re nearing completion on the Maple Ridge Leisure Centre and looking back on the installation of its improved hot pool. | Our design raised the new leisure pool to create a new common pool deck level and incorporated a new beach entry which leads to a warm lap area and elliptical lazy river to be used for therapy and recreation. An earlier iteration of the North Elevation for the VMC Affordable Housing Project | This was developed at a time in the project’s conception when we had detailed discussions about how the Classical principles of Firmitas (Durability) Utilitas (Utility) and Venustas (Beauty)which resonate with Masonic symbolismare best expressed in contemporary architecture. The design has evolved slightly since then, but this rendering was instrumental in understanding these variables. https://shapearchitecture.ca/proj/vancouver-masonic-centre/
